We are a service disabled veteran owned and operated business with over 100 years of combined law enforcement and military service. The staff at R&D Gun Works is ready to help you buy, train with, and maintain all your firearms.
Our staff is certified by state and federal law enforcement and NRA as firearms instructors, and we have school/factory trained and certified gunsmiths and armorers.

ALL SERVICES INCLUDING SALES, TRANSFERS, GUNSMITHING, AND TRAINING ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
We offer instruction in basic firearms use and safety , intermediate firearms handling, advanced firearms handling, CCW training, and specialized trained by as needed. We schedule classes based on our clients needs. We specialize in private classes, but will offer students the opportunity to join classes already scheduled if both groups of clients agree.
As our shop is a home based business, our gunsmithing services DO NOT include most types of machining, coloring of metal, welding, and other "industrial" types of service.
As a fully licensed California Firearms Dealer we can order firearms, accept FFL to FFL transfers, and do ammunition sales and transfers. However, these services must be approved and scheduled beforehand. We DO NOT maintain any inventory of firearms or parts. We DO NOT sell gun parts nor ammunition.
As a Type 7, Manufacturing, FFL holder, we can make, assemble, or otherwise manufacture firearms that are within our ability to do so, and that are legal in the State of California.
We DO NOT work on, nor service, any Privately Made Weapons (PMF), the so called "Ghost Guns."
